With this project we were instructed to create a model within a 12''x12''x12'' model of a certain architectural style or feature. My partner, Tyler Moffit, and I chose the cubic style architecture. Its main distinction is that there cannot be a single curve within the design. It is continuously confused with modern architecture because of this. We decided that we would 3D print the model as it would be clean and efficient. We used Inventor and had the building printed. We then used other materials for bushes and trees. What I took away from this project was that 3D modeling is effective in more ways than I thought. Before I had only used the process to create simple objects. |
